Question & Answer
Question: "Have you heard of any examiners using the institution's audits for the basis of their fault-finding and criticisms? I'd rather you didn't use my name or location if you use this question."
Answer: I'm sorry to say that we have heard of it. Two examiners I talked to say it is not an encouraged practice. Oddly enough, both objected to the term "fault-finding," and both used the phrase "short-cut for the examiner." Neither examiner agreed to be identified. We were not amused.
Contact with several officials in the Washington, DC regulatory offices revealed they would like to be made aware of this practice. If you would like us to pass on specific information, give us a call.
