From the mailbag…

Dear Editor: I am writing to you in response to one of your Q & A…regarding the ability to retrieve socials and birthdates for all accountholders. Our institution is currently with FiServ, Inc. of Brookfield, Wisconsin and we are capable of computerizing information for each and every customer of the bank, to include date of birth, business phone number, marital status, homeownership status, employment and occupation information, ethnic codes, and much more. This information is in addition to alternate mailing addresses and social security numbers. I wanted to share this information with you so that you may share it with others that face such Bank Secrecy challenges.

Our institution enjoys your publication and services very much. Your friendly staff is always a pleasure to work with. Keep up the good work!

From the FAX machine…

(Editor's note-we ran a short article last month about an ATM being installed at Wrigley Field in Chicago. We received this FAX in response!)

Dear Editor: BIG DEAL! So the Chicago Scrubs have an ATM. The Sox have had one ever since the new park opened years ago. Of course, we Southsiders have always been ahead of the north!
