Easier Access To Home Banking
Intuit's Quicken has been the market leader for online banking and financial transactions according to industry analysts, with about 70% of the market. Microsoft Corp, their major rival, is also available, but has different specifications.
That changed the second week of 1997 when the two companies announced a common specification for online banking.
Now banks that want to offer home banking won't have to choose between the two.
