Working Or Surfing?

Do you have the capability of accessing the World Wide Web on the job?

A recent survey of employers came up with an interesting fact.

Forty-eight percent (48%) of those questioned said they approved of their employees doing some experimenting with the Web because they see it as a healthy way for employees to grow comfortable with technology. Many feel it raises productivity.

In the words of one human resource person, "We feel it opens new areas for learning."

Several employers said they put no more restrictions on Internet access than they do on personal phone calls.

We can assume the access relates to more than the game of solitaire!
