Welcome To Our World, Taj Mahal

When the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort opened in Atlantic City in 1990, it was billed as the "biggest casino in the world." An initial problem during the first two years, according to their spokesman, was getting the computer to recognize and report money laundering. The IRS agreed. By the end of 1991, the IRS says there were 106 occasions when the casino failed to file CTRs for over-$10,000 transactions. FinCEN just fined the Trump Taj $477,000 for those violations.
