Remote Tellers
First American National Bank, Nashville, has a way of serving its customers that it says will increase security while giving customers added convenience. The Remote Teller Ô uses pneumatic tubes and a two-way video system to provide walk-up banking counters that separate the teller from the customer by as much as 300 feet. It is installing 36 such "tellers" at 10 locations in Tennessee.
