New Job, New House, New Town, Old Bank

CompuBank, which is the first nationally chartered, purely virtual bank, has announced an e-commerce agreement with Virtual Relocation, a moving and travel service with 30,000 Web pages of information and over 100,000 links to related sites.

The service offers everything from job help, including a classified advertisement page, to community profiles, real estate offerings and even hotel rooms all over the world. It is part of CompuBank's eCommCenter, a place where CompuBank users can go to link up to multiple sources of information and resources including maps showing locations of automated teller machine that don't charge a fee, collectibles sites, colleges, stock market information, mortgage information and much more.

CompuBank says the relocation partnership is a logical one because changing banks is one of the biggest hassles when moving. CompuBank customers can change physical locations and have their bank accounts and bill paying services already set up before they move.
