PayMyBills - A Personal Bill Payment Service
If you want to pay your bills electronically, you'll want to check out the website PayMyBills.com.
PayMyBills.com works with existing bank accounts. Customers authorize their bills to be sent to an operations center. The center scans them into a PDF file and notifies the customers when bills arrive. A customer logs onto his or her own personal account, reviews bills and issues instructions. PayMyBills follows those instructions and deducts the specified amounts on the specified dates from the customer's bank account.
The service allows different levels of involvement from single payment instructions to automatic bill payment and archival of bills.
It costs customers $9.95 per month for the first 15 transactions and 50 cents per transaction after that.
