FBI Certified
Another fingerprint system company, Cross Match Technologies, Inc., announced that its compact ID 1000 live scan fingerprinting system is the first in the industry to meet image quality certification by the FBI. The higher level certification means better accuracy and resolution. The Cross Match system is a computer peripheral, which means it can be plugged into many computers.
The Cross Match system is designed to address both criminal justice and applicant fingerprinting markets. The system is smaller and less expensive than some of the older versions of electronic fingerprinting which will make it more useful to the financial industry.
