Up In The Sky! It's A Plane!
While many brick and mortar institutions were closed on the Fourth of July, an Internet bank in San Diego decided the holiday was a good time to launch its operations. And it did so in a celebratory manner. The Bank of Internet USA hired a skywriter to fly over the Del Mar area of San Diego where the new bank's headquarters are located, writing "BofI.com," its Internet address, across the sky.
At least the bank's anniversary should be easy for employees to remember.
