New Privacy Laws Not Needed
"Two years ago, a Federal Trade Commission survey found that close to 10 percent of all Web sites posted some type of privacy policy or described their privacy practices in some way. Today, that number is close to 90 percent. Consumers are better able than ever to determine whether a Web site's data practices match what the consumer desires."
