Encouraging Small Business Checking
Comerica has targeted the small business industry in its communities by offering to waive many of the fees associated with its small business checking accounts. Businesses that open accounts between now and November 15, 2002, will pay no monthly maintenance fees, including debit, credit, deposit items, excess activity, or FDIC charges - for one year.
They also will get free Web banking, free Web bill payment for six months, free overdraft protection for a year, free payroll services for a month, free initial order of checks, and free business check cards.
