A Touch Of Convenience
Some grocery customers in Seattle don't have to worry when they run to the store for milk and realize they've left their wallets behind.
The West Seattle Thriftway Supermarket is offering Pay By Touch to its customers. The Indivos Corporation's product allows the grocery store to offer its customers the convenience of using their fingerprints as a means of payment.
Customers only have to touch a pad to pay for what they've purchased. Those that use the service have signed up beforehand to have the payment come from one or more existing financial accounts and have had their print prerecorded by Indivos.
