Road Warrior Bonus
The American National Bank in Omaha, Nebraska, ran a promotion while intersection work was going on around one of its ATMs, theoretically to ease the annoyance of traffic tie-ups. They ran a "road warrior" promotion, inserting some $50 bills in the ATM's $20 stack, and some twenties in the $10 stack. The bonus bills were dispensed at random.
Daily use of the ATM immediately doubled. The promotion stopped when the intersection was completed.
