Imaging Deposits

Another popular use for imaging is starting to take hold: providing customers with images of deposits. California Bank & Trust has used that tool to offer business customers a convenient way manage their accounts - a CD-ROM with images of all checks deposited into their account during a certain period, which can be daily, weekly or monthly. By getting all deposits on a CD-ROM, customers don't have to request hard copies of deposited checks when conducting verification or research on deposits. The CD-Rom will include a simple, but comprehensive query process that will allow users to search a high volume of transactions efficiently. The bank says the service will soon be available online.
