PULSE Offers Smart Card
PULSE EFT Association, the member-owned ATM and EFT network, is Beta testing a stored value card.
PULSE said it created the card at the urging of its members and that it can be used for a number of purposes including family, gift or payrolls cards as well as travel, promotional and flexible spending programs. The cards are being tested by First Tennessee; Bancorp South, Tupelo, Mississippi; and International Bank of Commerce, Laredo, Texas. PULSE said the estimated market for such cards is $1 trillion.
