Recognition for Community Development
Foothill Independent Bank, a small commercial bank in the Los Angeles area, was recognized for its contribution to community development by receiving a Bank Enterprise Award. The awards are given by the U.S. Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.
Foothill was one of only four California banks to receive the honor. It works closely with the Inland Empire Lenders Corporation to provide financial services and capital for community revitalization in that area of the country.
