Wearing His 'Special' Shirt
Tim Johnson, wearing a cap, dark glasses, and a very distinctive bright blue Superman T-shirt, went into a Trustmark Bank in Jackson, Mississippi, gave the teller a demand note, said he had a gun, and after cash was put into his duffel bag, he turned to leave. The man in back of him in line saw the note still on the counter and said, "'Hey, buddy, you left this here," pointing to the note. Tim said he didn't need it, and kept on walking.
He must have been hungry, because without changing any of his outfit, he went across the street to a fast food restaurant and ordered breakfast. He was still waiting for it, just sitting there in his Superman T-shirt, holding his duffel bag, when police arrested him and charged him with bank robbery.
