Appealing to the Female Professional
Advanta Corporation has formed an alliance with the National Association of Female Executives in hopes of attracting female business owners and executives to its services. The 60,000-member organization will offer its members a credit card designed for them. Advanta also is sponsoring the organization's conference and has pledged to aid in marketing the organization to new members. The credit card company says its commitment is an extension of its 1950s origins, which was a lender to teachers - mostly women - at a time when loans for women were hard to get.
