A Convenient Way to Get Paid
Sutton Bank in north central Ohio recently became the latest bank to work with a payment card company to create a card that can be substituted for a paper check to meet local employers' payroll needs. Sutton and Provo International are partnering to offer the card, which will be marketed to employers who have a large percentage of employees with no banking relationships. Payroll goes onto the card, which can then be used as a debit or cash transfer card. Employees who elect to receive their pay that way can use the card to make purchases or withdraw cash at automated teller machines worldwide.
