FDIC's Web Service

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is encouraging financial institutions to register for FDICconnect, a Web service designed to facilitate communication between the FDIC and financial institutions. The site offers a number of electronic business transactions that can improve overall operating efficiencies including the ability to:
  1. File applications and reports with FDIC
  2. Download current and recent assessment invoices or certified statements and request duplicate invoices and statements for the past five years
  3. Register and update Automated Clearing House information for assessment payments
  4. Change or correct information about the institution and notify FDIC of branch closings
  5. Send secure email to the FDIC
  6. Order or download products from the FDIC
  7. Receive Financial Institution Letters and Special Alerts electronically
  8. Send questions, comment or complaints to the agency.
Interested financial institutions should designate a coordinator and register that coordinator with FDIC by calling (877) 275-3342 or going to www.fdic.gov.
