Helping During Crisis
First Midwest Bank, Gurnee, Illinois, helped victims of the Des Plaines River flood by offering zero-interest loans. The bank offered unsecured loans with 0 percent interest and no payments due for six months to help the many people in that area of the country that suffered significant property damage. The loans were offered through the month of June, and loans were processed within 24 hours.
