A More Secure ATM
NCR Australia is fighting the smash and grab attacks that hit many banks with an automated teller machine designed for protection against those attacks, as well as bad weather. The machines are housed in fiberglass pods that are bolted to the ground, which means they don't have to go through a hole in the wall. They sit on a concrete base. The machines also use ink-staining technology that deploys if the machines are attacked.
