John DiFrancesco, 31, held up the Five Cent Savings Bank in Newburyport, got his loot and climbed into his getaway vehicle - a huge septic truck! It was pretty easily spotted and Massachusetts police took chase.
DiFrancesco wound up on Interstate 95, going south. Police managed to stop him, but as they got out of their cars, he backed up, pulled over the median strip and headed south in the northbound lanes, drivers swerving to avoid him. He jumped out of the truck and ran into the woods, but police used a helicopter and canines to search the area and caught him the next morning.
