Bank of the West recently found the right community event to support its roots in Southern California. The bank announced that it would sponsor the longest running action sport and lifestyle festival in the state, which became the 2004 Bank of the West Beach Games festival. The event featured world class surfing, beach volleyball, skateboarding competition and live music, and attracted more than 600 world-class athletes from across the globe and 300,000 spectators.
