Best Places to Work
Banks are among the companies cited by Working Mother magazine as good places to work. We learned of two that made the "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers" list this year - PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. and UBS Investment Bank. Some of the programs PNC was commended for include an innovative program improving school readiness for pre-preschoolers through teens, flexible work arrangements, and dependent care programs, free assessments of employees' elderly parents and parents-in-law, support for new parents and advancement of women. UBS was commended for policies towards childcare leave, adoption assistance, and flexibility in treatment of employees and development networks for women.
