Poor Planning
Jared Torgison got a call from his Mom, telling him that the Klamath First Bank branch where she was manager had just been robbed. She told him what the robber looked like, and that he had gotten away, evidently on foot.
Later on that day Jared happened to be across the street from the branch when LaGrande Sandine, 48, came up to him and asked him directions to the bus station… said he had to get out of town quickly.
Jared remembered the description his Mom had given him, and after giving the man directions, he quickly called the branch with his cell phone and asked them to look outside and see if they could identify the robber - now making his way towards the terminal.
They did - and Sandine got a free ride in a police car instead of having to wait for a bus
