Adding Money Transfer To The Business
Union Bank of California, Los Angeles, has formed an alliance with MoneyGram Payment Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Travelers Express. Under the agreement, Union Bank branches in California will become authorized MoneyGram locations, offering self-service money transfer and bill payment services. The bank said adding the new business is a result of the rapid growth of global funds transfer services, especially between the U.S. and Mexico, Central and South America.
