Taking Over the Banner
Yardville National Bank stepped in to help a local community program that lost its government funding. The bank provided a generous grant to PEI Kids, a youth awareness program designed to help adults recognize youths who may be at risk of hurting themselves. The pilot program had worked with the Traumatic Loss Coalition of Mercer County to assist children growing up and struggling with common emotions of confusion and depression. However, the program's funding was cut out of the New Jersey state budget. Yardville's grant allowed the program to be reinstated.
