Identity Theft
The fight against identity theft marches forward with banks and their partners at the forefront. And they are not just banks here in the United States.
In the United Kingdom, a UK National Study on Identity Fraud has been launched, which will be the largest research project of its kind. The study will be run by ID Analytics in partnership with five of the six largest banks in that country, as well as some of the largest mobile operators, credit issuers and online and offline consumer finance companies. The study will look at patterns, practices and activities indicative of identity fraud and will suggest new solutions for fraud prevention.
