"All He Wants is a Room Somewhere ..."
Robert Krupinski, 57, robbed a downtown Appleton, Wisconsin bank, and was easily identified and traced. After he was arrested and charged with bank robbery, he told police his plan was to get caught so he could go to a federal prison and get regular meals and have a bed. He was homeless.
He is also an unregistered sex offender. The sex registry charge is punishable by up to six years in prison, and the armed robbery charge is a felony punishable by up to 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000. He may have a home for a long time.
