Helping Soldiers Phone Home
During the 2004 holiday season, Midwest Bank and Trust Company celebrated by helping U.S. troops afford calls to home. The bank matched donations up to the first $10,000 made to Operation Phone Home, a program that provides pre-paid phone cards to soldiers. The bank also established collection centers at its branches.
