Giving the Gift of Reading
Sovereign Bank announced it more than doubled last year's holiday book drive by providing over 40,000 books to children in neighborhoods and cities across the nation. The bank expanded its effort to all the communities it serves. The bank collected new and "gently used" books through its banking offices and distributed them to local United Way agencies that provide assistance to children in need.
