  • There is nearly $700 billion in U.S. currency worldwide - only one third of it in the United States. Ibid.
  • About 1 (one) in 25,000 $50 bills is a counterfeit. In the last ten years digitally produced counterfeits have increased from 1% of all counterfeits detected in the U.S. to 40% Ibid.
