Sponsoring a University Athletic Center
Hudson United Bank, Hamden, CT, recently pledged $5 million to sponsor a local university's new athletic center. The Quinnipiac University facility will be known as the Hudson United Bank Center. The 157,000-square-foot facility will have a basketball arena joined by a common lobby to a hockey arena, and will also have offices, locker rooms, premium seating, conference and meeting rooms and weight-training facilities. It is expected to open in January 2007.
