Overnight Checks
Bank One is offering its checking customers the ability to send a check as late as 10 p.m. (EST) for next-business-day delivery anywhere in the continental United States. The bank sends an official bank check via UPS using funds from the customer's Bank One checking account. The check arrives by 10:30 a.m. the next day, and customers can track progress via a UPS tracking number.
The bank says the service should be popular for parents who need to get funds to children quickly, for people who have forgotten an important payment or to avoid hefty late fees. Cost of the service is $14.95.
