Providing Opportunity to Students
National City Bank of Kentucky, Louisville, launched a program in conjunction with four of the state's largest universities that will provide some business students both scholarship money and summer employment opportunity. The National City Business Scholars program provides up to $10,000 in scholarship money to qualified students and gives them an opportunity to apply for a summer employment experience with the bank, a job worth another $4,000. Applicants are selected based on financial need, community service, campus involvement, academic honors and work history. The program is offered through four of the state's largest universities.
