Bank Helping Landslide Victims
South County Bank in Laguna Beach, California set up an emergency relief fund to help the victims of recent landslides that have devastated residential areas in that community. The bank contributed $5,000 to get the fund started and is encouraging others to help their neighbors in need by making their own contributions.
Hundreds of residents of that community were evacuated from their homes as rain created mudslides that washed homes down the walls of a canyon.
