New Offering Monitors Possible Disclosure Risk
Reconnex, a company that offers risk management services, recently announced a new program designed for small to medium-sized organizations that monitors their systems to find places they might be vulnerable to privacy risk.
The company silently watches the network systems of financial services and other organizations, looking for areas of possible exposure of information that might compromise customers' identity, damage the organization's brand, disrupt ongoing operations or subject the organizations' directors to serious financial penalties. It then immediately reports the breaches to officials so they can respond in real time. One of the first customers to install the new system is Community Bank of Dearborn, Michigan.
