Kwik Bank Robri Mistakes
Bart Thomas used hold-up notes to rob banks. The first note was as long ago as March 2003. The two most recent were in February, this year, when he was caught.
He went into a Chase Bank on Long Island and pushed a note at the teller. A customer noticed the teller becoming upset, and followed Thomas out to the parking lot and wrote down the license number of his pickup truck. He was arrested shortly afterward.
Police say they are able to connect Thomas to at least 13 bank robberies due to the notes he left behind where he spelled the word "robbery" as "robri" and the word "quick" as "kwik."
Maybe while he's in jail he can sign up for some spelling lessons.
