A written application form for registration for FDICconnect was attached to Financial Institution Letter (FIL) 93-2003. As the March 30th deadline approaches, FDIC is concerned because it appears many have not yet registered, and, as it requires a written form, there may be delays if everyone waits until the last minute to register.
FDICconnect is the new Internet channel for banks to conduct business and exchange information with the FDIC. Starting March 30, 2005, all deposit insurance assessments will be collected using FDICconnect.
