Repairing Homes for Those Who Can't
Bank One contributed both the sweat of its employees and money for materials for a program in the Louisville, KY area that provides elderly and disabled homeowners needed home repairs. The bank's employee volunteers worked alongside other volunteers in the Repair Affair program, which completed its 151st project of the year - the painting of a 72-year-old resident's home. The bank also contributed $20,000 to help area youth and neighborhood-based teams purchase needed materials for repair. Repair Affair is run by New Directions Housing Corporation.
