It Wasn't Him - It Was Her!
In Connecticut Andre Guthrie, AKA Andrea Guthrie robbed a Sovereign Bank in Lowell. Andre, a 22 year old student, was dressed as his female alter ego, Andrea, complete with auburn wig, bra, and makeup. Waving a (toy) gun around, the transvestite threatened employees before driving away in a white van, which was quickly stopped and he/she was arrested.
The charge is robbing a bank while "masked", referring to the female dress and accessories. The lawyer says Andre/Andrea was not masked - only appearing as the alter ego.
Evidently the court is not buying that and Andre/Andrea is facing at least a five year jail sentence - not a nice place for him/her to be.
