Downloadable Forms for ID Theft
Question: At the Security Officers Workshop one of the speakers mentioned that they download information and forms to give to depositors if they come in and tell us they are victims of identity theft. I don't remember where it was that we get those forms, as I didn't write it down. Can you help?
Answer: Sure can. What you're looking for is at www.FTC.gov - all the forms for ID theft are right there in pdf file so you can print it out for your depositors. Once on the site, click "consumers" on the left - and then on the consumer page just scroll down to "Identity Theft" and you'll find all you need.
