Free Top Ups
The term "top up" used to refer to beverages and gasoline, but today, it often refers to putting more money on a phone card. The Bank of Ireland is offering such a service free to its mobile phone prepaid customers with an even newer twist - simplicity. Customers of the Vodafone/O2 wireless network can register their mobile phones for "Text Top Up" service at any Bank of Ireland automated teller machine. Those customers can then top up their prepaid account simply by sending a free text message from their phones.
