Giving Reward Points to Causes
U.S. Bank customers can choose to receive the rewards they get by using their Visa check cards in non-PIN transactions in one of four ways: cash, travel, merchandise and contributions to a nonprofit organization. Customers who choose that last option can designate which of the non-profit organizations U.S. Bank affiliates with should receive the rewards points. Currently those organizations include college alumni associations and hobbies or special interest groups such as Moose, Yellowstone Park, Pheasants Forever and the University of Wisconsin.
