In Support of Employees Who Help Habitat
Citigroup presented a $2 million grant to Habitat for Humanity International to show support to the more than 6,500 Citigroup employees who volunteered to build homes in at least 40 U.S. locations. Habitat houses are built for families who could not otherwise afford a home. The banking organization to date has seen 18,000 of it employees volunteer 214,000 hours to build more than 172 homes in the U.S.
