Supporting Diversity
Two banks and two other financial companies made the list of the 30 Best Companies for Diversity released by Black Enterprise and featured in a July 2005 cover story. To be chosen, a company has to have demonstrated significant representation of African Americans and other ethnic minorities in four areas: corporate procurement, corporate boards, senior management, and the total workforce. Among those selected were Bank of America, Citicorp, American Express and Fannie Mae.
