How Friendly!
In Winona, Minnesota, a nice, polite, friendly man entered Fortress Bank on a Saturday morning and handed the teller a note. The note started, "Hi, I am Thomas Mason..." and went on to demand $1,000. The teller watched him as he strolled out of the bank with the $1,000 and went across the street into a grocery store.
He was just paying for his $187 worth of groceries when police arrested him. $813 in cash and three bags of groceries were recovered.
