All This and Coffee, Too
Community First Credit Union recently opened a branch in Bartow, Florida that offers some high tech advantages, including a ceiling designed to absorb sounds, private offices with computers, and a "community café." The bank partnered with a local restaurant to create the café, which offers access to the Internet through onsite computers and a wireless network, 92" projection and plasma televisions as well as pastries and other breakfast foods, coffee drinks and lunch items. The new branch also has a children's learning center where parents can temporarily leave their children while they bank. Customers using the bank's drive in window can even place a coffee order, then drive around to the café's window to pick it up.
